FINALLY! BREAST ENHANCEMENT WITHOUT IMPLANTS OR SURGERY:
A SOLUTION TO THE BREAST DILEMMA
by Deborah Moore
In 1992, Glamour magazine conducted a survey on body image. More than 30,000 readers responded. This and other surveys have revealed that a sizable number of women are dissatisfied with all or parts of their bodies.
Most people would readily confirm that all you have to do is listen to a group of women talk about clothes, dieting or the new plastic surgery options to know this is true. But what this survey revealed in statistical form was quite interesting. The survey concluded that fully 30% of women are "dissatisfied" with or "ashamed" of their breasts and "78% percent say that pressure to look good comes from within themselves" — that is, opposed to their feeling pressure from society, men or other women. "Other respondents who need to look polished to be taken seriously (especially in a business environment) believe they are more confident and achieve more when they look good."
The breast area is a difficult area of the body to change. A woman can’t simply change her eating habits and exercise routine to achieve her desired breast shape and size. It’s no wonder that more than 2½ million women in the U.S. and Canada have undergone breast implant surgery over the past 15 years. More than 140,000 women are expected to receive saline or other implants this year. Eighty percent of these surgeries are purely for cosmetic reasons (the other 20% are for breast cancer and reconstruction).
But what about the woman who doesn’t want to undergo surgery? After all surgery is expensive, a long-term commitment and some implants have been reported to cause health risks and other problems — like hardening of the breasts, etc. Most likely, this woman and many like her find it frustrating to live in a society that practically worships the breast. However, it is not just a matter of achieving an ideal. Macleans magazine published an article in September 1992 that really expresses the heart of this issue. "Woman probably complain about their breasts more loudly and frequently than about any other part of their body. That notion is not at all surprising when you consider that we live in a culture where how a woman is endowed can be the key to her sexual confidence and self-image... Sometimes a woman may choose implants because her shape changed after childbirth [or from age]. Others — like me — just want their clothes to fit properly. All I had were nipples. When you’re going to buy a $600 dress and it’s a perfect fit except for the breasts that’s where you feel confronted with it — this dress would be perfect if I had normal breasts."
For hundreds of years women have been slaves to fashion eagerly (and not so eagerly) forcing themselves into everything from stiletto heels to mini skirts. But the body part most abused has been the breast.
Breasts have been bound, flattened, pushed-up, corseted, lifted and separated, unsupported, pushed together, padded and stuffed with socks, Kleenex, toilet tissue, and foam rubber — even surgically enhanced with implants. Through it all, rarely has it been comfortable, easy, flattering, or natural looking — while feeling like real breasts, risk free, and flexible. Until now...
A company called BodyLines.com, Belmont, Calif. (near San Francisco), is marketing an innovative product called Curves® The Invisible Breast Enhancer®. It appears to give women nearly everything they’re looking for in the way of increasing breast size and looking great in clothes — without the risks associated with implants and surgery. Curves® are made of specially formulated silicone gel with polyurethane exterior and are worn in any underwire bra or swimsuit. They feel just like breast tissue, but because they are worn outside the body, there are no associated health risks, long term commitments or big expense as with implants. A woman can wear Curves® at her discretion: everyday or just on special occasions or with certain outfits.
I tried Curves® myself and found them so comfortable that I literally forgot I was wearing them — until I caught my reflection in a store window. What a change. I look great! Curves® make an important difference. When I look down I really notice I have a chest. Voila! They're pretty amazing in that they really look, feel and even bounce just like breasts. When my husband returned home and gave me his usual warm embrace he could not figure out what had caused my breasts to grow! They felt so natural to him that he could not tell where my breast stopped and the Curves® began. The only down side is that my breasts are still the same when I’m naked. But actually for me that is not a problem. There are times when I prefer smaller breasts like when I jog and sleep. As for my husband, he likes the way I look in Curves, but he loves me the way I am.
Curves® have been called the "high-tech falsies" of the '90s. All I know is that Curves® have put the fun back into fashion for me! They're a deal at $89.95. Don’t be fooled by cheaper imitation breast enhancers sold in stores and elsewhere. Curves® are softer, more natural and have a better shape & fit than other products. If you’re going to make the investment, get the best. If Curves® are good enough for hundreds of Hollywood actresses on shows from ER to Ally McBeal, films like Batman & Robin and Alien Resurrection and with top supermodels, then they might just work for you. More than 500,000 women in 100+ countries have already bought Curves® — so it’s a safe investment. And, now BodyLines.com offers BodyLines’ THRIL!S™, BayWear® & Genie™ lingerie, swimwear & active-wear with special pockets to hold the Curves®.
