What are Curves®, and what are they made of? 

Curves® are not "cookie pads," but full enhancers that fit over the breasts. Curves® are made of a specially formulated silicone gel with a sheer polyurethane exterior. Curves® have been laboratory-tested and shown to be nonirritating to the skin.   The inside of the product is gel, not liquid.

Are Curves® safe?

Yes.  Curves® have been designed to be worn outside the body — in your bra or swimsuit. There are no known health risks — unlike possible problems with breast implants and surgery; and Curves® are much more affordable. 

Who uses Curves®?

In what sizes and colors are they available?

Curves® are available in 4 sizes: Demi, Small, Large and Extra-Large. The Small size increases you by ½ to 1 bra cup size.  Large increases you by about 1½ to 2 cups. Extra-Large increases you by about 2 to 2½ cups.  The Demi size is for smaller-framed women and has a smaller width and diameter. The Demi size is most similar in size and volume to the Small size.  All women’s breast sizes and shapes are different, so your results may vary.  With Curves you may experience either a subtle or dramatic change in your bust line.  We encourage you to experiment with Curves in different positions in your bra to achieve the optimal fullness and cleavage.  Curves® are available in 2 colors: Peach (for lighter complexions) and translucent Mocha (for women of color).  Also, check out BodyLines' new Curvettes™ mini silicone pads.

How long will they last? What about quality?

Many customers have been wearing their Curves® every day with no problems for more than 5 years since they were first introduced. Because Curves are being discontinued, the warranty is no longer available, however all remaining Curves sold are still manufactured with the same excellent quality you know and love. With proper care, Curves® can last for years. In fact, Curves® may last longer than the dresses, blouses and swimsuits that you’re wearing them with! Curves® are made of the finest quality materials and have been designed to last.  Curves® are soft but durable.  Just wash them gently with soap and water, pat dry with a soft cloth after each wearing, and store them in their original packaging (or BodyLines’ optional Curves® Traveler TM travel case) when you’re not wearing them.  Each unit is hand-inspected for quality before it leaves the factory. 

How do they stay in place?

You don’t need tape, adhesives or special bras with Curves®.  If your bra fits right, Curves® should stay in place for hours and even when you’re physically active.

What happens if I perspire a lot or it’s hot?

Every woman perspires differently.  If you perspire a lot or live in a hot climate, you may want to select a pocket style bra or swimsuit (such as BodyLines’ BayWear TM swimwear) or place a cotton cloth/pad between your breasts and the Curves®.

I’ve seen some other silicone breast enhancers? How do Curves® compare?

By inserting and adjusting Curves® properly between your breasts and most bras, you should see no lines or demarcations from your breast to Curves®.  And no one will know it isn’t all "you" under your blouse.

Can I swim while wearing my Curves®

Yes.  Curves® can be worn in chlorinated pool water and salt water.  If your suit fits right, they should stay in place when swimming and moving around.  An under-wire bathing suit is recommended or BodyLines’ BayWear TM swimwear.  Curves® are superior to padded swimsuits because they’re waterproof; padded suits soak up water, causing dripping and sagging.

How will my appearance change? Won’t my friends think I’ve had surgery?

Curves® enable you to wear more daring or closer-fitting styles and look very healthy.   Many customers report that people think they’ve been exercising, and have a slimmer, more balanced appearance.  Curves® "turns a pear-shape figure into an hourglass™." What happens when I undress? Will my lover notice my breasts are not as big?

Certainly, you won’t be as large when you’re naked — just as when you take off clothes with shoulder pads or control-top panty hose — you are not quite the same.  However, realize that the type and thickness of clothing you wear has an effect on your apparent breast size.  Depending on your natural breast size and the type of clothing you are wearing, the compensating effect of removing both your clothing and Curves® may very often be undetectable to others.
